Set in an area inhabited for many centuries, the town of Plymouth was initially formed in 1855. The town’s founding members built a gristmill, which they moved in 1857 after Parkers Lake flooded. Today, located just a few miles from downtown Minneapolis, Plymouth has experienced rapid growth over the past few years, with many eager to share everything the area offers. Still, it retains a low-key community feeling that beckons you to experience Plymouth’s wide variety of activities and adventures.
